Configuration of Us
Configuration of Us is based on a fictional story concept drawing inspiration from my personal story and Chinese mythology Nezha. It explores the relationship between a mother figure and a child centering on the topics of love, expectations, identities, individuality, and responsibilities.
When we enter a relationship, there is usually an expectation from both ends.
Sometimes we fulfill the expectations of each other, sometimes we resist against them. As time passes by, the initial expectation might no longer remain the same. Should both ends adapt and move on? Or should they adhere to the initial expectation?
